The Crisis We're Solving
Over 2 million fragility fractures occur annually in the U.S., costing $55 billion and causing immense suffering—yet 80% of patients never receive proper screening or treatment.
In the U.S, an osteoporotic fracture occurs every 16 seconds. And over age 50, 1 in 2 women and 1 in 4 men will experience an osteoporosis-related broken bone in their lifetime.
Guidelines are fragmented, training is inconsistent, and no national credential exists for providers.
ASOP is changing that: clinician-led, evidence-based, and focused on real-world impact.

Our Vision: A National Standard

Launch rigorous Basic and Advanced certification programs (pursuing international gold-standard accreditation for worldwide trust).
Equip thousands of providers with comprehensive knowledge and skills—from foundational care to complex cases, pediatric/rare diseases, and care transitions.
Create a patient-searchable registry and unified resources.
Align with age-friendly health systems to prevent fractures and improve outcomes across the lifespan.
We're creating trusted certifications—so doctors, PAs, NPs, and the entire healthcare team gain proven skills in bone health, just like board certifications in other fields.
Goal: Certify 7,000+ providers by 2030, prevent millions of fractures, and achieve self-sufficiency by Year 5.
